Glossary

This Glossary of educational terms is based on several sources that are important to an understanding of school design/redesign, school renewal, school climate/culture, personalized education and personalized instruction. It was developed by Eugene Howard, John Jenkins and James Keefe of the LEC Forum. Many of the terms are commonplace in educational research and practice, but others are more specialized to the processes of school design/redesign and the renewal of school learning environments. The purpose of the Glossary is to provide users of this website and readers of its archived articles with accurate definitions of pertinent terms, strategies, and programs.
